For over 30 years Jean Stewart, accomplished fine artist, goldsmith, jewelry designer and co-owner of Whitney's Custom Jewelry, has been creating one-of-a-kind silver, gold and gem creations both nationally and Internationally. Today, Jean continues this tradition of excellence along with her daughter Whitney Stewart, after whom Whitney's Custom Jewelry was named.
At Whitney's our philosophy is simple - to create
one-of-a-kind jewelry creations that are not
only intriguing and beautiful in design but also are of the highest quality. Each piece designed by Whitney's features only the best materials such as fine silver, sterling silver, gold, precious and semi-precious stones.
With each custom piece, the design begins with a
combination of your dreams, our sketches, and
various design techniques including an age old
process called lost wax casting.
In Lost Wax Casting, a model of your design is
carved in wax and invested in a plaster-like mold.
The mold is put into a burnout oven where the wax
melts away leaving a clean cavity in which melted
gold or silver is poured into. After cooling, the
original mold is destroyed, thus... making your
new piece of jewelry a one-of-a-kind creation.
Whether we create a stunning piece of custom jewelry using our materials or recycle your
gold, silver or gem stones into a new and fashionable original, each piece designed carries a
numbered certificate of authenticity signed by the designing jeweler as well as a guarantee of
excellence that is synonymous with Whitney's quality and craftsmanship.
